Summit! There is the Western peak of Mount Elbrus! Today, the group of the 7 Summits Club "Naughty squirrel and the brotherhood of the ice axe" climbed to the top of Mount Elbrus (5642). After several days of bad weather, the weather has been fine since yesterday. Everyone who was waiting for the weather window rushed to the top. Our team was working according to the program, we had planned the ascent for today. We managed with the plan, and the group went up to Elbrus in perfect weather.  The group of the 7 Summits Club "Naughty squirrel and the brotherhood of the ice pick" today climbed the refuge National Park. In connection with the planned power outage, we went up in the early morning, first on the cable car, then on the Ural truck. A new group called "Naughty squirrel and the brotherhood of the ice axe" has arrived in the Elbrus region. Today we made an acclimatization trip to the Cheget slope. We started our journey in the rain, but it was getting better by the afternoon. And then we continued to climb under the sun. Hello from the group "3-17"! Any work should be rewarded! So it is with us. After a difficult ascent on Elbrus,  in Terskol, in the hotel, there was a solemn awarding ceremony for the participants of the climb. Group guide Andrey Berezin.

Summit! And even two summits! Today, group named “3-17” climbed to the Western peak of Elbrus. And one girl did not stop there, and later climbed the Eastern peak of Elbrus. During today's day, we have watched the weather change. At the start, it was a clear starry sky, the dawn flashed with bright colors, then came the time of gray clouds, in which we climbed the Western and Eastern peaks, and in the afternoon "stretched" and we saw the sun. The  group named “3-17” continues acclimatization on the slopes of Mount Elbrus. We went to the Pastukhov Rocks, climbed it quickly enough. Today it is slightly cold,  on the rocks there were quite fresh, the wind is 30 km/h. Tomorrow we have a rest according to the plan. We will prepare for the ascent. Group guide Andrey Berezin.

A group  named "3-17" started an acclimatization program and preparation for the ascent of Elbrus. The weather changed from heat to heavy rain, and the walking on the slope of Cheget was raining, for comfort we put on raincoats.  In honor of the official opening of the Elbrus region, the group named "Cheese and Eggs" climbed both peaks of Mount Elbrus. Part of the group goes to the Western summit, and part of the group goes to the Eastern summit.

The Big February group of the Russian camp of the 7 Summits Club on Aconcagua today went to the Confluencia camp. We will spend two days there. There will be no communication at this time. The next news will be from the Plaza de Mulas camp.

The Big February group of the Russian camp of the 7 Summits Club on Aconcagua gathered in Mendoza. We got permits and went to Aconcagua National Park.

The group of the Russian camp of the Club of 7 Summits on Aconcagua climbed the highest peak of both Americas – Mount Aconcagua. It happened on a magical date - 02.02.2020. Congratulations to all the climbers! Further, according to our plan, they have a long descent to the entrance to the Horcones National Park, which is about 30 km. Group guides Andrei Berezin and Boris Egorov from Argentina: The fourth group of the Russian camp of the 7 Summits Club on Aconcagua made an acclimatization rotation with an overnight stay on Nido de Condores (5600). Today we climbed to the Plaza Berlin (5920), from where we descended to the base camp of the Plaza de Mulas. Tomorrow, according to the program, it will be rest. Future plans are weather dependent.

Greetings from the fourth january group on Aconcagua! Today the group spent the first night at the Plaza de Mulas, which is famous for the cold winds. But now the weather is surprisingly warm. Looks like summer has come here. In the afternoon we took a walk to an abandoned hotel. It seemed to us a little, and we made another small climb. A new group of the Russian camp of the 7 Summits Club started today its route to the foot of Mount Aconcagua. Yesterday there was a  hard day running around the hot Mendoza in search of SIM-cards and getting permits for climbing. This morning we moved to Penitentes, and went on a route.

Today and tomorrow we  will spend nights in the Confluencia camp, where there is no telephone connection. Two days later, we must reach the Plaza de Mulas camp and then there will be fresh news about our expedition. Guides of the group Andrey Berezin and Boris Egorov.

Hello from sunny Argentina! The New Years 7 Summits Club group (5 members and 3 guides) climbed to the top of  Mount Aconcagua, at 12.45 local time. The weather was surprisingly beautiful, in contrast to the forecast. Today we are already resting at the Plaza de Mulas Base Camp. Tomorrow we go down to Mendoza.
