Summit! There is the Western peak of Mount Elbrus! Today, the group of the 7 Summits Club "Naughty squirrel and the brotherhood of the ice axe" climbed to the top of Mount Elbrus (5642). After several days of bad weather, the weather has been fine since yesterday. Everyone who was waiting for the weather window rushed to the top. Our team was working according to the program, we had planned the ascent for today. We managed with the plan, and the group went up to Elbrus in perfect weather.  The group of the 7 Summits Club "Naughty squirrel and the brotherhood of the ice pick" today climbed the refuge National Park. In connection with the planned power outage, we went up in the early morning, first on the cable car, then on the Ural truck. We settled in, had lunch, and went to snow and ice classes in the afternoon. It was a great workout. Now we are preparing for tomorrow's ascent on the Pastukhov Rocks. A new group called "Naughty squirrel and the brotherhood of the ice axe" has arrived in the Elbrus region. Today we made an acclimatization trip to the Cheget slope. We started our journey in the rain, but it was getting better by the afternoon. And then we continued to climb under the sun. At the start, it was a clear starry sky, the dawn flashed with bright colors, then came the time of gray clouds, in which we climbed the Western and Eastern peaks, and in the afternoon "stretched" and we saw the sun. Congratulations to all the climbers! Further, according to our plan, they have a long descent to the entrance to the Horcones National Park, which is about 30 km. Group guides Andrei Berezin and Boris Egorov from Argentina: The fourth group of the Russian camp of the 7 Summits Club on Aconcagua made an acclimatization rotation with an overnight stay on Nido de Condores (5600). Today we climbed to the Plaza Berlin (5920), from where we descended to the base camp of the Plaza de Mulas. Tomorrow, according to the program, it will be rest. A new group of the Russian camp of the 7 Summits Club started today its route to the foot of Mount Aconcagua. Yesterday there was a  hard day running around the hot Mendoza in search of SIM-cards and getting permits for climbing. This morning we moved to Penitentes, and went on a route.

Today and tomorrow we  will spend nights in the Confluencia camp, where there is no telephone connection. Two days later, we must reach the Plaza de Mulas camp and then there will be fresh news about our expedition. Guides of the group Andrey Berezin and Boris Egorov.
